Brother Paul has been a Teamster since 1991. Having been employed in both the dairy and bakery industries serves Paul well in his role as a Business-Representative.

He has worked as a truck driver, production worker, machine operator, warehouse/checker-loader, automated warehouseman, etc.

With a great interest in workplace safety, Paul also represents Teamsters as a Director with a provincial safety board:  the Food Industry Occupational Safety Association (FIOSA).

Teamsters 464 is extremely proud of the job Paul is doing with this Board as he is the only labour representative who attends. The work the Association does impacts not only our Local but all workers in British Columbia.
Brother Paul is a long time volunteer and co-chair of the Teamsters Committee with Variety – the Children’s Charity. Outside of work, Paul is a community volunteer and youth soccer coach.

Testimonial

“I look after a lot of members in a very big plant. For years I had to fight for them by myself with no help at all from any of the Union’s representatives or Officers. This changed completely once Bobby, Bob and Paul were in office. Now I have access to my reps 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!  They’re always there to back me up.”

- Darrell Lawres – Chief Shop Steward. Saputo, Sperling

"I was a Shop Steward and was also on the contract negotiation team. The Union took the time and trouble to learn all about our industry and what we do. This means they are better able to fight for us whether it is on the job or at the bargaining table. We have the best contract in our industry. Thanks guys!"

- Gerald Price - Agrifoods

“They have demonstrated the dedication and leadership that
our Local requires. They have always provided sound counsel, support, and frank
discussion on matters involving the members, contract negotiations and our
Local.“

- Bruce Tillapaugh –Shop Steward. Island Farms, Victoria
