BOB
KORNHASS - Secretary-Treasurer
Bob
Kornhass has been a Teamster since 1995, and was first elected as
a Business Representative in 2001. Most
recently, Bob was elected as the Secretary-Treasurer by acclamation.
Bob
has been involved in several successful negotiations, grievances
and arbitrations. Bob is also a Trustee on the Teamsters Canada
Pension Plan.
BOB
RYDER - President / Business Agent
Bob
Ryder has been a Teamster member for over 25 years. In that time
he has advocated for the membership as a Shop Steward and intervener
prior to being elected as a Business Representative in 1999. Since
then, Bob has been involved in several successful negotiations,
grievances and arbitrations.
Brother
Ryder was elected to the position of Secretary-Treasurer in 2001.
In that role he was instrumental in turning around the Local Union's
finances and restoring the credibility of representation.
In
December 2005, Bob was re-elected again, but this time as the President
of the Local Union and Business Agent.

Those goals are the Membership."
Bob
is also a Trustee on the Teamsters Canada Pension Plan and a Retirement
Committee member for the Dairy Division. He has been proactive,
joining the Investment and Communication sub-committees, in order
to ensure the best possible pension benefits for the membership
in this Plan.
Bob
has been married for 26 years and has two children and four grandchildren.
PAUL
BARTON
- Business Agent
Paul
Barton has been a Teamster since 1989 and has been a strong supporter
of the Union movement advocating for fellow workers, friends and
family prior to being appointed as a Business Agent in July 2002.
In December 2005, he was elected to the same position.
Paul has been instrumental
in organizing educational seminars for our Shop Stewards and ensuring
the integrity of your Steward representation. He has also been very
successful in negotiations, grievances and arbitrations.
He has taken on
other challenges as a Business Representative including Co-Chair
of Security with the Variety Club Telethon and various committees.
Paul has stepped
up to the plate in the development and construction of this website,
as well as the design of a revised Teamster logo for Local 464 and
a line of hats and clothing. He has certainly proven himself to
be a valuable addition to the 464 Team.
